A luncheon in the Orchard each year raises the awareness of important issues in agriculture that both migrant workers and growers face. This annual event honors migrants and celebrates the harvest, sharing.
As part of the event, Migrant Legal Aid will present the Good Grower Award to the employer who most embodies the notion of fairness and quality in employee relations. The award recognizes an outstanding grower who strives to bring food and plants to market in a socially responsible way.
