Arbor Circle announces new board members

Arbor Circle announces the appointment of two new members and new leadership to their board of directors.

 

Joining the Arbor Circle Board of Directors are Melina Sinigos, MPO Planner and Global Pride Leader at Steelcase, and Matthew Boggiano, Senior Manager at Hungerford.

 

Exiting the board are Brett Karhoff of Hungerford and Kelley Root of BHS Insurance. Mark Nettleton of Mika Meyers will step down as board chair but will stay on the board for the duration of his third term. Judy Freeman of Education Consulting Practice LLC will step in as the new board chair. Dr. B. Donta Truss of Grand Valley State University will serve as board vice-chair.

Melina Sinigos, MPO Planner and Global Pride Leader at Steelcase

Melina Sinigos is the MPO Planner for the Steelcase Kentwood West Steel Plant in Kentwood, MI and serves as the Global Business Inclusion Group Leader-Pride. Melina has been with Steelcase since 2019 and has been a member of the Pride core team since she started. She stepped into a leadership role in 2022 and helped lead the opening of the newest Pride core team in the APAC region recently. In 2023, Melina became the global Pride leader, which includes the Mexico, EMEA, USA, and APAC regions.

 

Melina holds certifications in warehousing and supply chain management from Davenport University and Michigan State University, and a degree in Project Management from Ferris State University. She previously worked in the hospitality industry, and holds certifications from GRCC and The French Pastry School.

 

Matthew Boggiano, Senior Manager at Hungerford

Matthew is a Senior Manager in the Tax Department based in the Grand Rapids office. Matthew’s primary focus is tax planning, compliance, research, analysis and controversy resolution. He has been a practicing CPA with over 28 years of experience in a wide range of tax areas including individual, corporate, pass-through, state and local, international, mergers and acquisitions and accounting methods. He has worked with clients in many industries including manufacturing, distribution, transportation, real estate and construction, automotive, restaurants and food services and professional services including health care, legal services, consulting and financial services.

 

Matthew received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and his Master’s of Science in Taxation from Grand Valley State University. Matthew is a  certified public accountant in the State of Michigan.

 

Matthew is also a member of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team at Hungerford and provides regular educational presentations within and outside of the firm on a wide range of topics.
