Bill & Paul’s Sporthaus is excited to announce it is expanding to Ada Village with “Beyond by Bill & Paul’s,” an outdoor lifestyle, clothing, footwear and accessories store. The new store, which is currently under construction, will be 3,669 square feet and will be located at 551 Settler’s Drive, Suite 100, in Ada, Michigan (across from the James Salon).
“Bill & Paul’s has been the destination in West Michigan for outdoor equipment and clothing since 1961. We have been looking to take the Bill & Paul’s experience beyond our recently renovated store on East Paris, and as Ada Village continues to enhance and grow the heart of their downtown, it provides the perfect setting and opportunity for our West Michigan-based brand,” said Daniel G. DeVos, owner and chairman. “Our team brings a passion and knowledge that can’t be matched, and we are excited to be joining the Ada Village community.”
Adventure and exploration take us beyond our daily lives and often to the unknown. Bill & Paul’s second location will take our customers beyond the current East Paris location and offer a place to find the latest in high-quality apparel for active and sporty women, men and kids. The Ada Village store will carry merchandise from current and new Bill & Paul’s brands, including ARC’TERYX, Canada Goose®, Chaco®, Fjällräven, Free Fly Apparel®, Helly Hansen, Krimson Klover®, Parajumpers, Patagonia®, Reima, SKEA, SOREL® and The North Face®, and many others.

Located across from the Thornapple River in the rejuvenated Ada Village business district, Beyond will provide the same experience that Bill & Paul’s customers are accustomed to by offering the highest quality outdoor apparel and accessories that allow our customers to design their next adventure,” said Ryan Dean, general manager. “While Beyond will allow us to expand the Bill & Paul’s experience to Ada Village, our East Paris store will continue to be the primary destination for outdoor equipment, including skis, snowboards, kayaks and camping gear.”
Bill & Paul’s is working with Integrated Architecture and First Companies on the design and construction of the new store. The grand opening is scheduled for Spring 2020. Details will be shared at a later date.
The new location will bring over 10 new jobs to the area, with daily operations overseen by general manager, Ryan Dean.
The new Beyond location is the perfect fit for Bill & Paul’s customers as it is located in the rejuvenated Ada Village business district in Ada Township, a community dedicated to the outdoors, with more than 43 bike and walking trails and 1,000+ acres of public land for recreation. Ada Township offers extensive activities for families and our customers, who are outdoor enthusiasts interested in hiking, fishing, skiing, snowshoeing and canoeing.
