Just in time for the holiday season, the Fall Makers Market returns to the Blandford Nature Center.
The free event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the center, 1715 Hillburn Ave. NW.
The Nature Makers Market highlights local artists in the Grand Rapids are who create products inspired by nature or use natural or sustainable materials. This year’s fall market will feature 26 new and returning vendors who will be selling textiles, prints, ceramics, glassworks, jewelry, stationery, stickers and more. There will be a variety of styles and a wide selection of items available — al of which are created with nature in mind.
“It’s amazing to see the creativity each artist demonstrates while using nature as the inspiration for their work or using sustainable materials for their products,” said Heather Lewis, Blandford’s program manager. “If you’re looking to get your holiday shopping done or need gift ideas, this is a great opportunity to support Blandford and small local businesses!”
