Cherry Health is offering flu shots to the public at a drive-through clinic from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, at its Heart of the City Health Center in downtown Grand Rapids, 100 Cherry St. SE. The clinic is in partnership with Alana’s Foundation, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and Michigan Community VNA.
Quadrivalent injectable flu vaccine is available for ages 2 and older. The flu vaccine clinic is open to the public and Cherry Health patients. Pre-registration is requested to ensure an adequate vaccine supply.

· Participants are asked to bring their insurance card if they have insurance
· The vaccine cost will be covered by Alana’s Foundation for participants who do not have insurance, or their insurance does not cover flu vaccines
· Participants are asked to enter the parking garage on La Grave Ave SE
“With flu season upon us, getting a flu shot is the best course of action to protect yourself and your loved ones from this contagious virus,” said Cherry Health Interim CMO Dr. Jenny Bush. “We encourage everyone who can to get their flu shots as early as possible. Our drive-through flu vaccine clinic at Heart of the City Health Center is a quick and easy way to prepare for this season’s flu strain.
