Local homeless mission, Degage Ministries, will hold its final neighborhood car wash today, Friday, Aug. 3, from 12:30 – 3:30.
The car wash will be held in the Heartside neighborhood at 139 Sheldon Avenue, on the corner of Sheldon and Cherry Street.
This is the third car wash held this summer, and highlights Degage’s commitment to transform the lives of its patrons by creating income-generating opportunities. Eight of Degage’s patrons will be paid to work at the car wash. A $10 donation per car is suggested.
