The Threads Program at Baxter is excited to invite you to the 2018 Quilt Show on Sept. 14-15, 2018. The event will be held at Baxter Community Center in the Gym Friday and Saturday from 11:00 until 5:00pm. This year’s theme, “A Stitch in Time, Every Quilt Has a Story,” will highlight amazing, artistic and beautiful Story telling Quilts.
The last Quilt Show, in 2016, brought more than 300 people admiring the beautiful patchwork and history of over 60 quilts! The neighborhood came together over the creativity and hard work of our quilters and were able to walk around and vote on their favorites. This year the Quilt Show will fun for the whole family! There will be events for all ages, entertainment, childrens’ activities and more. Mark your calendars, and join us as we honor our elders and feature the many unique and talented artists who have created pieces for this year’s Quilt Show at Baxter Community Center.
