The biggest weekend of the summer in Frankfort will begin on Friday, Aug. 16 when the Frankfort Elberta Chamber of Commerce Art Fair will take place in Market Square Park. The new extended hours are from 1-7pm this year. And a new addition on Friday only will be a bounce house from approximately 3-7pm (near the tennis courts).

The Frankfort A&W will host a fun Cruise night from 5-8pm and will be hopping with classic cars, great food, music and fun starting at 5pm.

Also that evening, Cheryl Wolfram (solo guitar & vocal) will be playing in the Concert in the Park at Mineral Springs Park at 7pm.

On Saturday, Aug. 17, the 43rd Annual Frankfort Art Fair, presented by the Frankfort Elberta Chamber of Commerce, will continue with over 150 artists displaying their work from 10am-4pm in Market Square Park on M-22. Also new this year will be a kid’s fun play area including coloring, dancing, games and more — and possibly a glimpse of Frankie Fish. Southern Sin-Thesis Food Truck will provide the food this year under the big tent during the Frankfort Art Fair starting at 11am.

Also on Saturday, returning by popular demand, the Collector Car Show will be held in Mineral Springs Park in downtown Frankfort. Registration begins at 8am and presentation of awards takes place at 2:30pm.

A free Benzie Bus shuttle bus will be available to the Art Fair from the Open Space, next to the library. The Benzie Bus free shuttle service is available from 10am-4pm. No pets will be allowed into Market Square Park on Friday or Saturday.

This event is coordinated by the Frankfort-Elberta Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by their Corporate Premier Sponsors: Curtis Insurance, Dinghy’s Restaurant & Bar, State Savings Bank, Graceland Fruit, West Shore Bank and Make it Benzie.
