The KDL Byron Township and Kentwood (Richard L. Root) branches will host the Koombah Rain Sticks event in June. Koo-oom-bah means creativity in Swahili and these KDL branches can help you get creative using your imagination and a few craft supplies to create your own rain stick. This program is for ages 6 and older.
On June 12 at 2 p.m. the Bryon Township branch, located at 8191 Byron Center Ave SW, will have the event, and on June 28 the Kentwood (Richard L. Root) branch, located at 4950 Breton Rd SE, will also organize the program at 10 a.m.
