Before heading out to the fields, make sure your heart is healthy! Participants in this screen will have an assessment with a Metro Health Cardiology provider and basic diagnostic testing (lab work, body composition and electrocardiogram) to determine their risk of developing cardiovascular disease and the likelihood of a heart attack. Individualized counseling with a nurse on how to modify major risk factors will also be provided.
Be safe this hunting season! Hunters (and spouses or partners) are invited to participate. An 8-hour fasting period is required to participate in the glucose screen. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
