Attention aspiring poets: KDL is hosting the Write Michigan Teen Poetry Contest!
If you think in verse or speak in song, type up those words and submit them to the annual Write Michigan Teen Poetry Contest and enter the Teen Poetry Slam. Not only is this a chance to share your writing with the world, but also to win prizes, such as Meijer gift cards. If your wordsmithing needs work, be sure to check out the Teen Poetry Conference and Workshop in March.
This year features two chances to win prizes. Submit up to two poems for a chance to win a $50 Meijer gift card. Then, read one of your poems at our 4th Annual Write Michigan Teen Poetry Slam for another chance to win! You must submit a written work to be eligible for the teen poetry slam.
