Lake + Valley, a new lifestyle brand from the GVSU Laker Store, captures more than just the essence of GVSU, but the natural beauty of the West Michigan area.
“We believe Lake + Valley represents not only a unique location, but the spirit of adventure and appreciation for our natural resources that define both our university and our region,” said Bryan Bickford, Associate Director of Advertising and Writing. “We’re excited to bring the Lake + Valley lifestyle brand to native and visiting Michiganders who recognize the special place that GVSU occupies in our state.”
The line includes T-shirts, sweatshirts, baseball caps and beanies, all showcasing the stunning West Michigan landscape. There are multiple designs and colors in all items, with select styles crafted from recycled materials. While Lake + Valley is a GVSU brand, it also appeals to the larger West Michigan community, noted Doug Wentworth, Director of Auxiliary Services.
“We are privileged to reside in such a beautiful region, a sentiment that Grand Valley shares with our community,” Wentworth said. “Lake + Valley embodies not only the spirit of being a Laker but also the shared experience of calling West Michigan home.”
The Lake + Valley collection is available at all Laker Store locations, including the new Laker Store on Monroe Center, as well as on the Laker Store website.
