Don’t miss it! The Michigan Apple Fest is happening in Rogers Park at 75 N. Union, Sparta, MI from 10am-4pm Saturday, Sept. 22nd.
On Sept. 26, 2015, Michigan Apple Fest kicked off an inaugural annual event that reached roughly 3,500 visitors over a six-hour period. The event featured Michigan Apples in food and beverages sold by local restaurants, cider and doughnut-tasting competitions from farmers markets, local history of apples in Michigan, kids games featuring Johnny Appleseed with hands on activities promoting healthy eating, packing production tours, partnerships with farm markets throughout West Michigan, and hosting a photo op with the 2015 Michigan Apple Queen and Runner-Up.
The organization is operated by the Sparta Area Chamber of Commerce and consists of committee members throughout the Ridge area.
