Michigan cookbook author and award-winning recipe developer Gina Ferwerda will be visiting Schuler Books & Music, 2660 28th St. SE, Thursday, June 14.
Ferwerda will be discussing her debut cookbook “Meals from the Mitten: Celebrating the Seasons in Michigan,” which shares 80-plus seasonal recipes from Michigan along with beautiful photography from some of the state’s most scenic landscape including Sleeping Bear Dunes and old Mission Peninsula wine country.
Ferwerda, who has been a TODAY show food contributor, been featured by Good Morning America, and ABC’s The Chew, will be at the bookstore at 7 p.m.
