Stop the Bleed is a national initiative sponsored by the American College of Surgeons and has the goal of training millions of civilians to identify and stop life-threatening bleeding in the crucial minutes after the injury. Metro Health – University of Michigan Health is dedicated to the health of the communities we serve. That’s why Metro’s Trauma Team has partnered with the Wyoming Department of Public Safety, the Kentwood Fire Department and the Grandville Fire Department to provide free one-hour training sessions. Your 60-minute investment could save someone’s life.
