Join Krasl Art Center (KAC) for the annual Soup’s On! lunch event Nov. 6, 7, and 8. Lunch is served 11am-1:30pm. KAC is open until 8pm on Wednesday and Thursday and 5pm on Friday. Enjoy chef-prepared soups from local restaurants, fresh bread, handmade desserts, and a beverage for just $10 during this festive event. All proceeds support KAC programming.

This holiday event offers something different each day. Twelve local restaurants will provide soup, and guests can vote for their favorite to determine the winner of the soon-to-be-coveted “Soup’s On Soup-er Bowl” trophy.

After lunch, visit The Shop at KAC to discover unique gifts not available in department stores or online. Find regionally made, uncommon items — just in time for the Christmas season. Come each day to meet the featured artists demonstrating their artistic processes and describing their one-of-a-kind pieces. Shoppers have the chance to hear the story behind the handmade items and begin their holiday shopping. Visit krasl.org/soups-on/ for daily soup options and more information on featured artists.

  • Wednesday, Nov. 6 — Leather artist Chandra Williams of Lunch Money Designs.
  • Thursday, Nov. 7 — Quilling artist Miranda Skibbe of MsJemz.
  • Friday, Nov. 8 — Ceramic and fiber artist TJ Schwarts.

In addition to these fantastic finds, guests can purchase ceramic bowls made by KAC’s Clay Artist Guild and meet the guild member who helped craft it. Add to or begin your collection — each bowl is $10, with sales supporting ceramic studio programs at Krasl Art Center. Lunch is not included with a bowl purchase.

New this year! A different group will be recognized each day with a lunch discount:

  • Wednesday, Nov. 6 — Non-Profit Professionals Appreciation — $2 off 1 meal w/ business card.
  • Thursday, Nov. 7 — Military Appreciation — $2 off 1 meal with military ID.
  • Friday, Nov. 8 — Teacher Appreciation — $2 off 1 meal with school badge.
