Taste your way through Michigan history with Ellie! March 13th

By Sandra Spiering, Heritage Museum & Cultural Center

The Heritage Museum and Cultural Center is hosting a culinary history tasting on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. ElliePresents will replicate the 1908 Benton Harbor High School Football Banquet. Along with a four-course tasting meal, there will be a cash bar with two signature 1908 cocktails available.

This is the first of three historical tastings that will be offered by The Heritage Museum. ElliePresents will return on May 15, 2019, for a meal from the 1930s and again on July 10, 2019, for a meal from the 1950s.

Ellie brings historical characters to life with her unique blend of humor, costumes, and food. She believes that costumed living history is the closest we can come to time travel… so far.
