Join the Grand Rapids Public Museum (GRPM) for the final 2019 Mighty Wurlitzer Organ Concerts with special holiday music performances by Dave Wickerham on Friday, Dec. 20, and Saturday, Dec. 21.

Wickerham will present holiday cheer this season bringing to life favorite holiday songs on the GRPM’s 1928 Mighty Wurlitzer Theater Organ. This will be Wickerham’s seventh concert series at the GRPM.

Tickets for Friday, Dec. 20, are sold out. There are limited tickets available for Saturday, Dec. 21.

Wickerham is a California native who is an internationally recognized organist. He moved to Arizona in 1976, where he became Associate Organist at the famous Organ Stop Pizza Restaurants in Phoenix, Mesa and Tucson. He continued his musical studies with Roseamond Crowley, one of the few remaining descendants of the Louis Vierne line of organists. He then attended the University of Arizona and pursued classical organ studies for six years with Dr. Roy Johnson. Additionally, he served as a Staff Organist at Pipes and Pizza in Lansing, Illinois, and was a featured Staff Organist for 10 years at the Piper Music Palace in Greenfield. He enjoys concertizing to various audiences statewide and overseas. He took great joy in his staple performance in Melbourne, Australia as a featured artist for the Theatre Organ Society of Australia, where he received raving reviews.

Shows will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, and at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, in the Meijer Theater at the GRPM.
