This week’s Photo of the Week comes from Managing Editor Ken Norris who is currently in Morocco. Morocco’s Blue City is Chefchaouen and it has become a photographer’s dream place because of all the shades of blue. The city was founded in 1471 s a point of defense against the invading Portuguese and why it is blue, where there is a number of legends to that. One is that a Jewish community brought the tradition of painting the buildings blue because it reminded them of God while another story said it was to repel mosquitoes and prevent malaria.
